STITCHING (APARADO)

    The stitching step is the phase in which all the components of the shoe, get joined by seams or stitching, for being later attached to the lining, the person performing this step needs having a lot of skill as well as knowledge about pattern-making and also about shoe manufacturing as it is the link between the designer / patternmaker and manufacturing phase. (it is essential that each piece is sewn to the other in the same place and with the same inclination for which they were designed).

This work is usually done by women, and are called stitchers (we say APARADORAS, because this step is called APARADO in spanish).

DRAWING OVER LAST

Hello everyone!

  today I´ll post some pictures I made of the styles during the drawing and pattern fitting process, specifically, the phase in which the model is drawn on a adhesive paper girded to the last. this process offers the designer a previous idea of the style when finished, giving in this step the correct dimensions and measures over the anatomy of the foot, using the last.

COLOURS CHOICE

The choice of materials is often a complex process, which must devote as much attention to design and pattern fitting itself.

Here are some pics of the materials I'm using for these first seven models of my spring summer collection.

Although usually to devise a model, you already have an idea of ​​what will be the material and the color that is to be performed, not rarely, after seeing it on the last, the decision is taken to change other leather or colour, because it is here where you can already make a clear idea about the final result.

DESIGN PROCESS

This weekend, I finally finished all that is design work and fitting of the seven styles that will conform the spring collection,  YEEEHA !!
 now i am just making the first samples, for all that is the subject of photography, and others, and then the factory will serve me the initial stock...

SS/2015 SHOE TRENDS MEETING

   This week was held in Alicante, the fair  FUTURMODA, a space dedicated to companies engaged in the auxiliary industry of footwear. This year, exhibitors presented their materials and components for shoes that will see the street next SS2015.
After a while with some identity crisis, this event has been and what should be a meeting point for professionals and industry and shoe design. JUST THAT.
Past ... gone are inventions like trend catwalks (which offered nothing new, and no one cared), large and colorful spaces for exhibitors. Hostesses everywhere, heavy machinery stands .... God knows what economic and political interests were behind all that shit

...GENTLEMEN , DIDN´T NEED TO DO THAT, AND HERE IS THE PROOF

 

To summarize a bit of what there seen , for that, pastel colours trend on leathers, shades like malva, light pink , aqua , lavender .... There was also the issue of sequimiento on metallic color, ( in particular, it had glitter materials , which were the most new ) elastic patterns in unlikely colors as well as flowers, stripes , jeans imitation ..

In the industry of ornaments, people was a little lost, are already several seasons in which the use of  metal to decorate shoes ( metal zippers apart ) . And they had interesting proposals, such as chains, buckles  and other parts in abs ( plastic). Glad I came here because I got what I was looking for, these same they can inject for me all those things in transparent plastic (have been 2 week looking for that) On the soles industry ? More of the same anatomical soles ( bio) on heels , wedges, or platforms , and one who has dared to present mountain homes tr injected using white fence and skin envelope . ( this will be the genuine tendency to follow soon )

TESTING STYLES

It´s time to make a first style to make it serve for various functions.

           - Side-by allows the last show dressed with materials will use later in the true styles.

 

           - With these first styles, I will make the fit test (verify all is in place and if that fist well on
foot, also as to confort.)



 

 

 
- Addition to all this, before taking them out of last, this is what will use the sole manufacturer to

adjust and fit perfectly their soles to the thickness resulting from UPPER + LINING + REINFORCEMENTS.
